We’ve got a fantastic night of clean comedy coming to the George Theater! It’s a chance to unplug, get together with family and friends, and enjoy an evening of great comedy that’s genuinely funny without worrying about what might come out of the comedian’s mouth!
The show features three terrific comics. Christy Conder has performed with Nate Bargatze and opened for Anjelah Johnson-Reyes and Karen Mills. Her Dry Bar Comedy special, Results Not Typical, also earned her recognition as one of Angel Studios’ comedians to watch.
Srsly Melissa turns the hilarious realities of everyday life, family, faith, and relationships into relatable clean comedy. After overcoming a childhood stutter through theater and the creative arts, she now brings laughter to audiences across the country.
And Houston favorite Daren Neely brings more than 25 years of experience to the stage with his laid-back style, quick wit, storytelling, and audience interaction.

ABOUT OUR ARTISTS
Although A.D. Players is driven by a Christ-centered world view, not all of our staff or artists are Believers. Our Board Members and Senior Leadership are required to possess an active Christian faith according to our bylaws, but our contract artists and staff are not. This is by design. Since our inception 60 years ago, Jeanette Clift George, our Founder, envisioned a company where Believer artists and Non-Believer artists could produce exceptional theatre side by side. Where all are welcome to experience the love of Jesus and the transformative power of the Kingdom of God. Where the Mission does not change, but individual hearts do.
We maintain that important practice to this day.
