Best christmas Bootcamp ever
Please join us for a PRE-AUDITION bootcamp for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, our 2026 Christmas show!
We will be casting 13 youth roles for the show on Jun 13, 2026.
Our PRE-AUDITION Bootcamp prepares young actors to deliver their strongest audition possible.
The Bootcamp will take place at The George Theater on June 9-11th, from 1-3pm. Cost $195.00
The focus of the Bootcamp will be audition prep. Participants will work on monologues, scenework, physical acting, and storytelling through character. The Bootcamp will work exclusively with material from the play and place your child in the best position to deliver their best audition ever! The Bootcamp concludes with a mock audition on The George Theatre Mainstage.
The Bootcamp is not required to be cast in the show. Conversely, participating in the Bootcamp does NOT guarantee a role in the show.

Characters:
PLEASE NOTE: The age range listed is for the character, not necessarily the actor portraying them.
BETH BRADLEY – (female, age 10-11) A lead role who narrates the show; must have a strong voice and great stage presence; able to show an array of emotions. Sister to Charlie and daughter to Grace & Bob.
CHARLIE BRADLEY – (male, age 8‐9) Younger brother to Beth, and son of Grace & Bob; typical “little brother” character, but an all‐around good kid. Must have good comedic timing and a strong voice.
RALPH HERDMAN – (male, age 12‐13) Ragged, scroungy, slouching manner, with a touch of adolescent cool. The oldest member of the Herdman clan of young ruffian siblings who are considered “the worst kids in the history of the world.” Definitely the perpetrator of minor crimes.
IMOGENE HERDMAN – (female, age 11-12) Loud, bossy, and crafty. The second oldest member and leader of the Herdman clan of young ruffian siblings who are considered “the worst kids in the history of the world.” One tough cookie. Imogene shows an array of emotions from sassy to sadness in this play.
LEROY HERDMAN – (male, age 10‐11) Tough, sure of himself. The third member of the Herdman clan of young ruffian siblings who are considered “the worst kids in the history of the world.”
CLAUDE HERDMAN – (male, age 9-10) Tough, combative. The fourth member of the Herdman clan of young ruffian siblings who are considered “the worst kids in the history of the world.”
OLLIE HERDMAN – (male, age 8-9) Looking for trouble. Claude’s usual partner in crime. The fifth member of the Herdman clan of young ruffian siblings who are considered “the worst kids in the history of the world.”
GLADYS HERDMAN – (female, age 7‐8) Small, wiry, feisty. The sixth and youngest member of theHerdman clan of young ruffian siblings who are considered “the worst kids in the history of the world.”
ALICE WENDLEKEN – (female, age 10‐11) Prim, proper, and a pain in the neck. She is one of Beth’s Sunday School classmates. A goody two shoes and very prissy.
MAXINE – (female, Age 10‐11) The narrator of the Christmas Pageant within the play. She is one of Beth’s Sunday School classmates.
ELMER HOPKINS – (male, age 12-13) The minister’s son. He is a little nerdy, but still sweet. Friends with Charlie Bradley and NOT a fan of the Herdmans.
