Jennifer Dean
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Baylor University in 2000. Following graduation she came to be a part of the A. D. Players. She has performed at the A. D. Players in RING ROUND THE MOON; THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER; CHARLEY’S AUNT; ANGEL STREET; GOD’S FAVORITE; SHADOWLANDS; PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, and won Spotlighter awards for her roles in ANASTASIA and O LITTLE TOWN OF BAGELS, TEACAKES, AND HAMBURGER BUNS.
Katharine Weatherly
Katharine graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, with a BA in History. Stage credits at UST include Beatrice in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING; Irene Livingston in LIGHT UP THE SKY; General Mathilda B. Cartwright in GUYS AND DOLLS; and Lory/Tweedledee/March Hare in ALICE’S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND. Technical credits include Costume Designer for the University of St. Thomas production of GUYS AND DOLLS and Sound Operator for the A. D. Players productions of THE BIG DIPPER and THE GREAT CROSS COUNTRY RACE.
Orlando Arriaga
Orlando has been with the A. D. Players since 2003. He graduated from Lamar University with a degree in Theatre Arts in 2002, where he focused on acting and playwrighting. Some of Orlando’s favorite roles have been Sitting Bull in INDIANS; Francis Flute in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM; John/Judas in GODSPELL; and character E in Jeannette Clift George’s play ET CETERA.
Abby Dawson
Abby, a native Houstonian, joined the A. D. Players in 2005 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University with degrees in Music and Theatre. While at Texas State, Abby was heavily involved in Opera, musical theatre, and Campus Crusade for Christ. Some of her favorite performances with the A. D. Players have been JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH; SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN; THE BIG DIPPER; AND ROCK NATIVITY.
Stephen Hurst
Stephen has been with A. D. Players since 2000. He holds a MA in Theatre for Young Audiences and Youth from Oklahoma City University, and a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno. He also earned his CA teaching certification. A. D. Players credits include: SHADOWLANDS; ANASTASIA; JOYFUL NOISE; SOMETHING OF CHRISTMAS. He has been part of a number of productions on the Rotunda stage; several Touring productions including John, His Story; and Theater Arts Academy Teacher. California credits include Good Company Players, Paramount’s GREAT AMERICA. May God continue to do a good work in the plans He knows for us all.
Linford Herschberger
Linford earned a BA in Elementary Education at Cedarville College in Ohio. He taught sixth grade for four years and directed OUR TOWN and CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN. Favorite roles include Mr. Dussel in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK; Matthew Cuthbert in ANNE OF GREEN GABLES; The Magician in THE MAGICIAN’S NEPHEW. Other credits include A CHRISTMAS OF MANY PARTS; I DIDN’T KNOW THAT; CHARLOTTE’S WEB; and 84 CHARING CROSS ROAD. Since joining A. D. Players in 1999, Linford has created props, served as stage manager, produced various video projects, and worked in the finance office.
