Oklahoma Baptist University honored Patty in 2000 with the Alumni award, "Profiles in Excellence," in recognition of her then 25-year career with the A. D. Players. Patty, a Touring Company veteran, has received Best Supporting Actress Awards with roles in THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK; JOYFUL NOISE; and ANGEL STREET. Other favorites: O LITTLE TOWN OF BAGELS, TEACAKES, AND HAMBURGER BUNS and SISTER CALLING MY NAME. She can be seen on our videos of JOSHUA and in JOHN HIS STORY.
Jason Bergstrom
Mr. Basket (Dog)
Another Kentuckian A. D. Player, Jason’s love of theatre began at Berea College where he earned his BA. Jason has performed in such plays as: WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? (Nick); METAMORPHOSES (Ceyx and others); PROOF (Hal); THE TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA (Proteus); and THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (Peter). He directed Agatha Christie’s THE MOUSETRAP at Berea and J. B. Priestley’s DANGEROUS CORNER at the University Sunderland, England.

Marty Blair Mr. Fleet (Hare)
Marty attended Louisiana Tech University and earned his BFA in graphic design. Since joining the A. D. Players in 2002, he has performed in numerous productions on all our stages including; A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM; JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH; GALLEY PROOF; WHERE THE RED FERN GROWS; and PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. Marty also works in our Marketing office where he designs brochures, posters, and serves as Webmaster. In his spare time, Marty loves spending time with his lovely wife Kristi and his dog, Tigger.

Jeffrey McMorrough
Mr. Sloe (Tortoise) Jeff received his BA in Speech and Theater from Arkansas Tech University and an MFA in Acting from Florida Atlantic University. Some of his favorite roles include Macbeth in MACBETH; Sade in MARAT/SADE; John in JOHN HIS STORY; Warnie in SHADOWLANDS; Charley in CHARLEY’S AUNT; Ferdinand in LOVE’S LABOR’S LOST; and Orgon in TARTUFFE. He has also been seen in many roles at A. D. Players Children’s Theater and has received the Spotlighter Award for his work there. Jeff is also an accomplished photographer.

Stephen Hurst
Mr. Sett (Badger)
Stephen has been with A. D. Players since 2000. He holds a MA in Theatre for Young Audiences and Youth from Oklahoma City University, and a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno. He also earned his CA teaching certification. A. D. Players credits include: SHADOWLANDS; ANASTASIA; JOYFUL NOISE; SOMETHING OF CHRISTMAS. He has been part of a number of productions on the Rotunda stage; several Touring productions including John, His Story; and Theater Arts Academy Teacher. California credits include Good Company Players, Paramount’s GREAT AMERICA. May God continue to do a good work in the plans He knows for us all.

Abby Dawson
Miss Warren (Rabbit)
Abby, a native Houstonian, joined the A. D. Players in 2005 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University with degrees in Music and Theatre. While at Texas State, Abby was heavily involved in Opera, musical theatre, and Campus Crusade for Christ. Some of her favorite performances with the A. D. Players have been JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH; SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN; THE BIG DIPPER; AND ROCK NATIVITY.

Natalie Lerner
Miss Spiney (Hedgehog)
Natalie received a BA in both Theatre and Radio/Television Broadcasting from Stephen F. Austin State University and is married to her charming husband, Zachary. Natalie’s favorite roles include: Puck in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM; Tillie in THE EFFECTS OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN IN THE MOON MARIGOLDS; Scout in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD; Frenchy in GREASE; Young Phillis in FOLLIES; Sheila in HAIR; Lilly in LILLY’S PURPLE PLASTIC PURSE; and Trudi in TRUDI AND THE MINSTREL. Her thanks goes out to the Lord and her family for the years of support in her acting endeavors.
