Bunnicula
Adapted for the stage by Jon Klein from the book by Deborah and James Howe;
Lyrics by Jon Klein; Music by Chris Jeffries
October 23 – November 10, 2012
In the depths of the movie theater (where they are watching Dracula), the Monroe family come across an oddly marked rabbit whom they decide to take home and name Bunnicula. When all of the vegetables in the house start turning white, the Monroe’s cat Chester and dog Harold try to convince the family that Bunnicula may really be a vegetable vampire and a threat to the household! But is the bunny really a danger or just different? This musical adaptation is great fun for kids of all ages and teaches a very important lesson on not judging a book by its cover.
